Connect and Discover: Focus of AHCD Graduate Colloquium Seminar

Tina Childress, an educational audiologist at the Illinois School for the Deaf in Urbana, Illinois, will present “Connect and Discover,” at the ACHD Graduate Colloquium Seminar, 3:30 p.m., April 30 at the Holmes Student Center Sky Room.

Childress has expertise in cochlear implants, assistive technology, aural rehabilitation, and the social/emotional impact of hearing loss. She is also a a bilateral cochlear implant recipient. She shares her passion for mentoring, teaching and helping others navigate through the world of hearing loss by providing training and workshops for parents and professionals.
