Professor Anitha Saravanan, NIU School of Nursing, is the primary investigator (PI) for the Smart Tablet Education for Healthy Living (STEHL) project. The project engaged older adults at retirement facilities to help them become more comfortable with technology designed to assist them in finding quality health information online. The program launched in August 2023 and is funded by a $10,000 Illinois SAG Outreach award.
