Northern Nurses got a head start in their job search. 
On Feb. 28, nursing students had the opportunity to meet employers from various hospitals and healthcare organizations without leaving campus when the School of Nursing hosted a career fair in their new home on 3100 Sycamore Rd. in DeKalb.
“I had many students come up stating how wonderful the event was and thanking us for hosting this in the building,” said Mary Margaret Evans, program coordinator. “In addition, our healthcare organizations said they appreciated connecting with our students.”
More than 50 students attended the fair that included about a dozen employers. Plans are underway to host another career fair in the fall.
