Celebrate good times, come on!

Faculty and staff from the College of Health and Human Sciences gathered at the Huskie Den in Holmes Student Center on April 29 for the end-of-year celebration, Scholarship, Research and Grants (SRG) Ahead!

“SRG Ahead marked more than just the end of the academic year,” said Dean Kelly Fiala. “It was an opportunity to honor our significant accomplishments related to service, research and grants and the recognize the dedication of our faculty and staff.”

Along with festivities that included a buffet dinner, karaoke and bowling, faculty were recognized for grant funding milestones and the 2025 Dean’s Awards for Excellence winners were announced.

While awards were not presented for top karaoke performers, an overwhelming majority lauded the Kool and the Gang inspired version of “Celebration,” performed by the CHHS leadership team of Dean Kelly Fiala and Associate Deans Rachel Gordon and Sherrill Morris.
