Two students from NIU’s Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) program were elected as the new officers for the American Society of Clinical Laboratory Sciences – Illinois Developing Professionals Forum (ASCLS-IL DPF).
Dioco Reyes, was elected as the chair of ASCCLS-IL DPF and Cleophas Kabarega, was elected as the organization’s treasurer for the 2021-2022 academic year.
“We are so happy that our students earned this significant honor,” said Dr. Masih Shokrani, MLS professor and ASCLS-IL DPF liaison. “To hold such an office speaks to the talent and ability of these NIU students.”
