Chelsea Wachholder (’12), BSN, RN, a critical care unit nurse at SwedishAmerican Hospital, Rockford, received a DAISY Award for extraordinary nursing.
The DAISY Award was created in memory of J. Patrick Barnes, to honor the excellent nursing care he received in his final days, and to say thank you to nurses for the gifts they give to their patients and their families every day.
