Audiology student’s poster a finalist for national award

A poster by audiology student Kassondra Hemmen, along with Blythe Kitner, Audiology clinical assistant professor, has been nominated for an American Academy of Audiology Foundation James and Susan Jerger Award for Excellent in Student Research.

Their poster, “PP1507: Quantifying Aging Effects on the Ocular Vestibular-Evoked Myogenic Potential and Vestibular Microphonic” is one of 10 nominees for the award. The winner will be named at the American Academy of Audiology conference in March.
