Kim Wedoff joins the School of Allied Health and Communicative Disorders as Director of Clinic Finance and Operations beginning March 3.

“I am really looking forward to working with a fantastic team of employees who provide energy, knowledge, and passion to the Speech-Language-Hearing and Physical Therapy clinics,” said Wedoff, who was formerly a clinical assistant professor in the school. “I am eager to learn, grow, and develop in this role through collaboration with all the people who assist in making this clinic a premier destination for patients in our community.”
School of Allied Health and Communicative Disorders chair, Sherrill Morris, said she is delighted to have Wedoff return to NIU in this new role.
“Kim brings significant management and healthcare experience along with demonstrated excellence in the academic environment,” Morris said. “This will help us expand the already exceptional services and educational opportunities offered through the Physical Therapy Clinic and Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic.”
In addition to having a master’s in business management and significant management experience, Wedoff is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist, with an Early Intervention credential.
“I love the fact that I have knowledge about some of the systems in place, the floorplans of the clinics, and the community we serve,” Wedoff said. “Additionally, I know many of the practicing clinicians, instructors, and office team, which is comforting and motivating all at the same time. These factors will aid my transition into this role as will have plenty to learn but will have a platform to use for support.”
