New 2024 rankings released this week by U.S. News & World Report place Northern Illinois University School of Nursing’s Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) program at #183 in the nation.
This ranking is up 64 spots over the 2023 U.S. News & World Report ranking, and positions NIU among the top five undergraduate nursing schools in Illinois.
“Our faculty and staff consistently work to support our students’ learning experience,” said Dean Kelly Fiala, NIU College of Health and 
Human Sciences. “It’s rewarding to see their efforts pay off in this way.”
This year’s rankings compare programs from more than 650 institutions.
