The NIU Student Academy of Audiology raised over $2,900 for Hear the Cheers, a Chicago-based non-profit organization that provides hearing aids and assisted listening devices to children. The organization directly assists the patients seen at the NIU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic.
The Hustle for Hearing 5K Run/Walk, held Sept. 30 in DeKalb, with 88 participants and several local business sponsors.
