Assistant professor earns accolades from American Society for Nutrition

Henna Muzaffar

Visiting Assistant Professor Henna Muzaffar has been named the Early Career Award winner for the Nutrition Education & Behavioral Science Research Interest Section of the American Society for Nutrition. She received the award earlier this month at the ASN conference in Baltimore.

Muzaffar courses include: community nutrition, food and family transdisciplinary research in the social and behavior sciences, working with diverse populations in health and human sciences. She is a registered dietitian and a licensed dietitian, and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
