Experience at NIU: Eboni received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from NIU. Some of Eboni’s most memorable experiences include her clinical work at Kishwaukee Hospital doing swallowing study practice, working with tracheostomy and voice patients at Kindred in Sycamore and attending the Saturday Cranial Facial Clinic in Rockford.
Eboni worked alongside several faculty members at NIU and was part of the first graduating class to work in the new Speech-Language Hearing Clinic on Sycamore Road.
Professional Success: Eboni has been employed by the Chicago Public School District since September 2010 with assignments at two schools. The majority of the students she serves have autism and moderate-severe cognitive impairments. With this population of students, she works a lot with Augmentative Assistive Communication (communication devices and picture exchange communication systems).
