Students compete in an SLP college bowl

Communicative Disorders students, Ryan Scheri, Junilane Lusung, and speech-language pathology students, Cambria Robinson, Hannah Hill, competed in the 10th annual College Bowl at the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association Convention recently in Rosemont.  They demonstrated their ability to perform under time pressure while answering practice PRAXIS questions.  Faculty and students in the audience learned facts related to normal development and disorders involving speech sounds, language, stuttering, voice, resonance, hearing, swallowing, as well as cultural competencies.
