Maternal and child nutrition grad course offered this summer

Interested in understanding the concepts related to maternal and child nutrition? Find out more when you take Maternal and Child Nutrition, FCNS 611.  In this course you’ll discover how to:

  • Apply nutrition concepts to address the nutrient needs during pregnancy through childhood
  • Describe the relationship between physiological changes that occur in each of these stages
  • Apply skills to identify nutrition issues in women of child-bearing age, infants and children
  • Prioritize factors that need to be considered when developing nutrition recommendations and programs
